| The Churchill name represents a long tradition of almost two centuries of medical publishing. Churchill first appeared as a medical publishing brand in London in 1826. J. & A. Churchill later merged with E. & S. Livingstone to create Churchill Livingstone, a world leader in medical reference publishing.
To supplement Churchill Livingstone’s long, honored history of producing outstanding educational materials for healthcare providers, its parent company, British media giant Pearson, Plc,, acquired Radius Scientific in 1992. Renamed Churchill Communications, the company quickly grew to become one of the largest and most recognized brands in the field of sponsored medical education.
Ownership of Churchill Communications has since returned to Frank Rodino, a clinician and the original founder of the company. Today, Churchill Communications continues to be a leader in the creation of professional advocacy, publication planning and medical education programs.
